Property Management
PDX Metro Property Management, the full-service property management division of PDX Metro Commercial Real Estate, was created based on requests from our clients. We found the owners that we work with in our brokerage capacity were frustrated either because they had a management company in place that was proving ineffective, or they were tired of having to deal with all of the aspects of managing their properties themselves. Fortunately, between the 3 brokers that manage the division, Craig Gilbert, JB Fearn and John Prell our company has more than 20 years of property management experience dealing with everything from large multifamily to office and commercial properties.
Included in the services we provide is everything from tenant screening and renting to accounting and bill paying. There are two things that set us apart from other property management companies. The first is our philosophy of managing our clients property as if they were our own. We are completely transparent and accountable to our clients as we would be if we owned the building personally. Keeping small and focused is very important to us and keeps our level of personal service high. The second reason is our pricing. Our fee is based on a sliding scale which depends on the occupancy level of your building. Our reason for doing that is we want to have our goals aligned with yours as the owner, rather then just take our fee off of the top regardless of whether or not the property is thriving.
We currently manage more than 200 rental units and 3 commercial buildings in NE/SE Portland. We manage everything from single-family up to a 50 unit apartment complex. On the office side we currently manage a large office building in downtown Oregon City, an office building on NE Broadway and a mixed use retail building in North Portland.
